What is interspring?
  • Stream client (runs in a browser, written in JavaScript)
  • Takes advantage of HTML 5 technologies
  • Integrated news feed reader (with many different views....you can even write your own)
  • Integrated twitter client that supports multiple accounts
  • Blends feeds into a single stream of channels
  • Integrated podcast player (using HTML 5 Audio element if present, Flash otherwise)
  • Tweet Rules (like email rules except for tweets)
  • Geo aware. Attach any geo location to a tweet. View the geo location of a tweet or geo tagged RSS feed entry.
  • Real time feed updates (PubSubHubbub, Twitter, rssCloud)
  • Post to Blogger (via AuthSub), Tumblr or WordPress (using their twitter API emulation which is incomplete at the moment - currently they only support xml not json)
  • Notification system
  • Uses XMPP to funnel real time updates to the browser as quickly as possible.

interspring on twitter

  • interspring is a JavaScript intensive application. Internet Explorer (all versions) are simply not fast enough to provide a rewarding experience. So we suggest you install Google Chrome Frame to use interspring.
